Photo Workshops

Whether you are new to photography and want to understand more about your camera and how to use it or are experienced and just want to be taken to hand picked locations to take pictures the choice is yours. Our focus is on helping you to take better pictures.
We take a practical step by step approach to help you get the best out of your camera, not just on this workshop but on your next photographic adventure. The following is a list of some of the core themes we cover – depending on your level of experience we can cover more or less of each item.
Introduction to the workshop – what are your personal aims and objectives that you want to cover during your workshop
Camera appreciation – how it works and how to use it, how do different lenses work, what are they used for
Equipment – what other equipment is useful, tripods, filters, remote controls, etc. and how and when do you use them
Light and composition – approaches and techniques for composing and capturing images
Photographic techniques – we cover a range of photographic techniques including low-light, variable and long exposure, filters, black and white and night time photography
Post processing – simple Photoshop workflows to make the most of your images and get them ready to print

We work with many different cameras – SLRs and non SLRs. Don’t worry if you don’t have a camera as we have ones that you can use. We can also supply tripods as we appreciate you may not be travelling with all your gear or may not own one.

Thanks for the great time we had on the photography course. It's given me the confidence and belief that I can go out, find and compose the images I want, capture them and get the best out of them in post processing. Thanks for making me a better photographer and I'm looking forward to another course to take me to the next level!
